Title: Saturday Night Rumble Beginners Game
Type: Fantasy
System: D&D 4e
Level: Beginner
Languages: English
Lurking: yes
Gametimes: 8 PM - ? US Eastern, Saturday nights only,
Description
I'm one of the admins for this site. This is a game designed for beginners who are new to tabletop style RPGs and want to learn how to play. It occurs on most Saturday nights starting at 8PM Eastern time US. It's a continuing series of adventures, but is set up so that new people can hop in each week and old ones can move on to regular games whenever they want. See the "Saturday night beginner's game" thread in the Games/GMs/Players Wanted section of the Forums and respond there. Also see the earlier "Gauging interest in a learning game for beginners" thread for a brief explanation of how to generate characters that was done for the first group of players.

Title: The Ralkean Campaign
Type: Homebrew Fantasy+Mild Steampunk
System: 4e
Level: Characters start at lvl3 22-point buy
Languages: English
Lurking: yes
Gametimes: 3PM-8PM PST
Description
Any players looking to play some 4E D&D and get a chance to flex their creative muscles should read further. Rule lawyers or anyone who is uncomfortable with creative or inventive occurrences or character decisions will probably not enjoy this game. The game will be run over OpenRPG 1.8, with voice over Skype. Any players unable to use voice (or who would rather not) will be able to use text-only. We will be using 4E game mechanics to explore the homebrew Medieval/Fantasy/Steampunk world of Ralkea. Players can expect to have their decisions and actions directly influence the world around them, and influence the fate of the continent itself! Player characters should be developed based on 4e D&D material at level 3 using 22-point buy, if you want something more unique and specific message me. The world of Ralkea is currently a religiously and racially divided place. For background information and the world and current events there contact me. If there are several players interested in playing an evil anti-hero party that option will be available. The gameplay syle will be determined by the players. However the players decide to deal with a situation they will expect to be rewarded with experience, loot, and a rich stor

Description
The people are divided amongst different tiers and under tiers. The tiers are for the high ranking, people who are smart, people who are rich. Usually fate is decided at birth. Only very few after birth at some time are even lucky enough to live in the tiers. People in under tiers could only dream what are up in the tiers, and only very few have escaped to attempt to live and fit in to a place of such high class. A government junta called POINT (Producers Of Integrated Neo Technology.), has been running the tiers, and attempting to run the under tiers as well. “The “POINT” is always clear.” Even though POINT has superior weapons, and built the land everyone lives on, the civilians who live in the under tiers try to match them in tenacity. Most civilians started gangs to survive in the cold depths of the under tiers. Food, shelter, clothes are hard to come by. Weapons are harder to come by, and ammo is extremely rare. People will cherish bullets, and bombs like their life savings. The official currency of the world is called tokens. But people in the under tiers find tokens hard to come by, so they use a unique system of barter to get what they need.
